Arsenal brought their goal drought to an end in emphatic style this evening, smashing PSV 7-1 to more or less assure passage into the Champions League quarter-finals.

Jurrien Timber gave the Gunners the lead from a Declan Rice cross before Ethan Nwaneri’s brilliant finish doubled the lead. Mikel Merino made it 3-0 but PSV did get one back from the spot.

Two quickfire second half goals from Martin Odegaard and Leandro Trossard made the game comfortable, the captain grabbed a second and then set up Riccardo Calafiori to round out the scoring late on.
