It’s already been a busy offseason for the Los Angeles Rams, who have not only agreed to new contracts with both Matthew Stafford and Alaric Jackson, but also traded Jonah Jackson to the Chicago Bears.
Their work is hardly done, but the decision to move Jackson will give the Rams some additional ammo in the 2025 NFL draft. In return for the veteran guard, the Rams received a 2025 sixth-round pick from the Bears.
Because the Bears didn’t have their own sixth-rounder, they are reportedly trading the pick they received in exchange for Justin Fields when they traded him to Pittsburgh last offseason.
As a result, the Rams now have eight total picks in the 2025 NFL draft. The exact position of each pick is still to be determined because compensatory selections haven’t been announced yet, but here’s an unofficial look at where the Rams will be picking this year, according to Tankathon.
- Round 1, No. 26 overall
- Round 3, No. 90 overall
- Round 3, No. 100 overall (compensatory)
- Round 4, No. 126 overall
- Round 6, No. 192 overall (via Falcons)
- Round 6, No. 197 overall (via Bears through Steelers)
- Round 6, No. 203 overall
- Round 6, No. 204 overall (via Steelers through Texans)
Again, the exact order of these picks can and will change between now and the draft, but it gives you an idea of the capital Los Angeles will enter the big event with. They have four of their own selections, one compensatory pick and three that were acquired by trade.
Here are their picks by round.
- 1st round: 1 pick
- 2nd round: No picks (Braden Fiske trade)
- 3rd round: 2 picks
- 4th round: 1 pick
- 5th round: No picks (Kevin Dotson trade)
- 6th round: 3 picks
- 7th round: No picks (Van Jefferson trade)
